Stanker & Galetto Completes Construction
of $10 Million Senior Residence
CHERRY HILL, NJ – Stanker & Galetto has completed construction of Benedict’s Place, a 74-unit senior residence on the campus of The Catholic Church of St. Mary in Cherry Hill. The three-story,
60,115 sq. ft. project features 73 one-room apartments for low-income residents 62 and older. Located on 4.3 acres located along St. Mary’s Drive, the residence includes an apartment for the manager of the complex.
“The goal was to position Benedict’s Place within the St. Mary’s campus and adjacent to existing nursing and assisted living facilities for easy access to health care,” said Peter Galetto, Stanker & Galetto CEO.
Benedict’s Place offers seniors all the accommodations needed for independent living including a community room, a kitchen, personal laundry facilities, and a lobby for socializing, Project Manager Rob Yood said.
“The design of Benedict’s Place ensures that the units are easily accessible and can accommodate the special needs of seniors,” said Galetto.
The residence is one of the Camden Diocese’s Housing Services Corp. development properties.
