Description:
Headquartered in Switzerland, Sika is a global manufacturer of a variety of building material products that include concrete admixtures, roofing, flooring, adhesive, sealants, waterproofing and paints with approximately 30 plants in operation in the U.S. This particular plant produces concrete repair mortars to serve the Northeast corridor of the U.S. and will showcase other Sika products used in the construction of the building. It is Sika’s largest plant in the U.S.
Facility Highlights:
– The production area accommodates four separate mortar production lines and dust collection system (60’ clear height) with a fully enclosed 125 ft process tower.
– Expansive warehouse (40’ clear height) for finished product storage and warehouse operations with 16 truck loading positions spread across two loading dock areas.
– Laboratory areas for quality control and testing.
– Rail spur to the Winchester and Western Line to be constructed to serve loading of raw material (primarily sand) and an additional structure to support pneumatic loading of materials. Expansive property to enable future production and warehouse operations.
