Construction management company Stanker & Galetto said recently that it has completed construction on Phase Two of its industrial warehouse facility in Delanco Township that is home to Misfits Market.
The Vineland-based family firm said in a news release that the 95,000-square-foot addition to the Misfits Market warehouse was completed in February, following the initial 159,000-square-foot Phase One project completed in August.
The property is the former site of the Dietz & Watson facility that was destroyed by fire in 2013, and online grocer Misfits Market shares warehousing and freezer space on the lot with RLS Logistics.
“The ability to make an impact in the Delanco community made this an attractive redevelopment project for us,” Ethan Byler, executive vice president of Stanker & Galetto, said in a prepared statement. “We could not be more pleased with the outcome of the project to support the growth of two of South Jersey’s most exciting growth companies in RLS Logistics and Misfits Market, and in a community that needed a strong rebound after the loss of Dietz & Watson.”
Misfits Market moved more than 300 employees from its original Philadelphia location to the new headquarters, and another 300 jobs have been added since the property opened.
